Home Tab

We can see many groups in Home tab like Font group, Paragraph Group, Styles group, Editing Group. Lets discuss one by one.

  1. Font Group:
Font group from home Tab

  • Font Style/Text Style
  • Font Size/Text Size
  • Increase font size 
  • Decrease font size
  • Bold
  • Italic
  • Underline (More underline like Wave underline, Thick underline, dot underline, word only underline, Dash underline, dot dash underline etc)
  • Strikethrough 
  • Superscript 
  • Subscript
  • Text Effect
  • Font color
  • Text highlight color
  • Change case (UPPER CASE, lower case, Sentence case, tOGGLE CASE, Capitalize Each Word)
  • Clear format 


Paragraph Group:

Paragraph Group

In Paragraph Group we can see the following Options.
  • Bullets
  • Numbers
  • Line spacing
  • Left align, center align, right align, Justify 
  • More line spacing (Line spacing, before, after, TAB position etc)
  • Increase Indent
  • Decrease Indent
  • Sort
  • Non Printing
  • Shading
  • Borders

Styles Group:

In Styles group we can see different types of text/font styles for our text like, Normal, No spacing, Heading 1, Heading 2, Title, subtitle, subtitle emphasis, Emphasis etc)

Editing:

Editing Group
In Editing Group we find options like:

Find: We can find any word by using this option in a current document.

Replace: We can find and replace any of word in a current document.

Select: By using this option we can select all text, or select objects, select all text with all formatting.)

Computer History and Generations

  Computer History Ancient Computers: The most ancient computer was Abacus. It was first automatic computer which was used for the purpose of calculating and counting. Blaise Pascal invented the Pascaline. this device could perform simple addition, subtraction multiplication division.
